WHERE AND WHEN WILL THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT TAKE PLACE?
The Global Solutions Summit will take place on Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at ESMT Berlin (Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin). The Summit will open on May 5 from 9:30 until 21:00 and May 6 from 9:30 until 17:00. Accreditation will begin approximately 45 minutes before opening.
HOW TO JOIN
WHICH OPTIONS DO I HAVE TO TAKE PART?
The registration for online participation is accessible here. It will stay open until the end of the Summit program, so you can join us digitally anytime.
Participation on-site is reserved for invited guests only. If you have received an invitation, please register for on-site attendance here. You have to enter the individual promo code from your invitation to be able to choose an on site ticket. As of the beginning of the Global Solutions Summit on May 5, please approach our staff at accreditation about options for late registrations.
Engagements as speaker, moderator or session host have been arranged independently from registrations by the GSI team, on a very individual and targeted basis. At this point, we do not have any further speaking slots to offer. Also, please understand that the Global Solutions Summit does not provide space for product or project presentations.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT DIGITALLY?
We look forward to welcoming online participants from around the world to the Global Solutions Summit! After registration, you will receive your personal login data to the digital platform. Learn more about the benefits for registered online participants here.
ARE ALL PARTS OF THE SUMMIT PROGRAM ACCESSIBLE ONLINE?
When joining digitally, you can follow all FORUM sessions in the livestream and join all DEEP DIVE sessions in a webinar setting. Also, the digital platform is a shared meeting point for all on site and online participants - so we encourage you to make use of the messenger service to step in touch with fellow participants. The DIALOGUE sessions are not accessible online, neither are the guided tours or the evening reception.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL MY ATTENDANCE IN BERLIN?
Please email us to events@global-solutions-summit.org in case you have to cancel your participation. We would be sad to miss you in Berlin, but luckily, many sessions are available online. Our hosting team converts your ticket into a digital access and frees your on-site spot to someone on the waiting list.

WHERE DO I FIND THE SUMMIT VENUE
The Global Solutions Summit 2025 takes place at the European School for Management and Technology ESMT Berlin (Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin). The historical building is located in the heart of the German capital, only a few steps away from the Brandenburg Gate and the Museumsinsel. It is easy to reach by public transport.
IS THERE FREE PARKING AT THE SUMMIT VENUE?
There is no parking at all at the Summit venue. We recommend to abstain from bringing a car. The closest paid parking is available „Unter den Linden/Staatsoper”.
IS THE VENUE BARRIER-FREE?
All parts of ESMT Berlin are accessible for guests with mobility challenges. Please approach our team at accreditation to show you around the elevators and seating arrangements when you get here. For all further inquiries about accessibility, please also contact the hosting team on the grounds, or write to us beforehand to events@global-solutions-initiative.org.
ARE THERE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR BAGS AND LUGGAGE?
We allow luggage, handbags and backpacks of a maximum size equivalent to a standard laptop. If you bring larger items, you can store them free of charge in our cloakroom at the entrance and pick them up after your visit.
WHICH FURTHER SECURITY MEASURES SHOULD I KNOW OF?
Please understand that we can only host invited and registered participants on site. Every participant of the Global Solutions Summit needs a participant badge, printed for you at your first arrival. Please carry that badge with you at all times on the ESMT grounds, as well as your ID card.
IS THERE CATERING DURING THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT?
Drinks and food will be provided during both Summit days in the two Foyers on 1st and 2nd floor. On Monday, May 5, there will also be an Evening Reception on the first and second floor with drinks and refreshments.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PROGRAM TRACKS?
In the Forum, overarching principles and discussions are presented as common starting points to address key challenges and to sketch global, multilateral solutions. In Deep Dives, we create discussion spaces for specialists and active stakeholders to share unique insights, relevant research and best practices to formulate concrete, effective and practical solutions. Dialogues allow speakers and the audience ample time and physical space for a more interactive and creative exchange of ideas. Closed sessions are invite-only gatherings on the sidelines of the public tracks to holst specific topical discussions. Invitations to these small gatherings have been sent out prior to the Summit by the GSI or our hosting partners.
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS IN ADVANCE?
Separate registration is not necessary for the public program tracks or individual sessions, sou you have full flexibility during the summit days. Please note that room capacities are limited and most seats are filled first come first serve. We recommend that you enter the session room a few miniutes early in order to secure a spot.
