WHAT IS THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT?

Since 2017, the Global Solutions Summit has provided a two-day forum for the world’s leading minds to propose and debate research-based policy recommendations for the G20, the G7 and beyond. As an established stepping-stone in the G20 and G7 calendars, the Global Solutions Summit works closely with the G20/G7 presidencies and associated official engagement groups, in particular the Think20 and Think7 groups of think tanks.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE IN THE SUMMIT?
Registration for online participation is available here.

Participation on-site is reserved for invited guests only. If you have received an invitation, please register for on-site or online attendance here. You have to enter the individual promo code that you received in advance by email.

IS THERE A WAY TO JOIN THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT DIGITALLY?

IS THE VENUE BARRIER-FREE?

All parts of ESMT Berlin are accessible for guests with mobility challenges. For all further inquiries about accessibility, please contact events@global-solutions-initiative.org.


ARE THERE SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR BAGS AND LUGGAGE?

We allow luggage, handbags and backpacks of a maximum size equivalent to a standard laptop. If you bring larger items, you can store them in our cloakroom at the entrance and pick them up after your visit.



THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT

WHERE AND WHEN WILL THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT TAKE PLACE?

The Global Solutions Summit will take place on Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at ESMT Berlin (Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin). The Summit will open on May 5 from 9:45 until 21:00 and May 6 from 9:45 until 17:00. Accreditation will begin approximately 45 minutes before opening.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER FOR THE INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS IN ADVANCE?

Separate registration is not necessary for the program tracks. Please note that room capacities are unfortunately limited and so we recommend that you attend sessions as early as possible in order to secure a space.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROGRAM TRACKS?

FORUM
This track offers a high-level view of global issues and policy approaches. This program track will be held on the second floor in the Audimax.

DEEP DIVES
This track features interactive, in-depth discussions on interdisciplinary topics. This program track will be held on the second floor in the Auditorium I.

DIALOGUES
This track grants participants a space to present, test, and discuss concrete ideas and proposals. This program track will be held on the first floor in the Tower View.


IS THERE CATERING DURING THE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS SUMMIT?

Drinks and food will be provided during the Summit. On Monday, May 5 we will hold an Evening Reception on the first and second floor. We are looking forward to your visit.
